‘Justice League’: Wonder Woman Is ‘The Glue Of The Team’, Says Gal Gadot

Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman said in one of the most recent interviews that her character is the glue of the team in Justice League.

In an exclusive interview with DC All Access, Gal Gadot was asked how her role and how the character Diana Prince fitted in with the rest of the team members in Justice League. “For me it was important that she be the glue of the team. I think that one of the special and beautiful things about Diana is that she cares for people in the most sincere way. So in her scenes, I made sure that she would make everyone of them feel stronger, loved and capable. The story in Justice League is far bigger than Diana; it is about the entire League”.

In the Wonder Woman movie, Diana worked alone. The film was all about Diana and the evolution that she goes through. However, in Justice League, all she wants is to “help people and make the world a better place.”

Talking about the costume that everybody had to wear during the shooting of the film, Gal Gadot said that even though it was strange and funny to be dressed up like that, it was extremely exciting. “Everyone looks just like they do in the comic books. Then they cut and it’s Halloween,” said the 32-year-old actress, giving us a hint of all the fun that the entire team had while shooting.

Referring to the fight as a dance that the team have to do together Gal Gadot explained, “One of them should set up the hit and another should deliver it at the perfect time. I think fighting alongside the team puts more stress on Diana, because she doesn’t want anything to happen to any of them.”

Earlier, in another interview with SFX magazine, Gadot had talked about the similarities that her character Wonder Woman had with Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) and how they worked together to make a perfect team.

Justice League, all set to hit the theaters on November 17, 2017 stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, J.K. Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, and Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta.
