TWD Actress Katelyn Nacon Shows Interest In Playing Raven In Teen Titans

The Walking Dead star Katelyn Nacon wants to play Raven on Teen Titans. Nacon, who is well-known for her portrayal of Enid on AMC series, talked about her interest in DC Comics during New York Comic Con.

In an interview with Screenrant, the 18-year-old actress talked about her interest in Cartoon Network’s superhero series Teen Titans. Nacon has always wanted to play Raven, also known as Rachel Roth, who happens to be one of the prominent members of Teen Titans.

“I know oh my gosh, no, Raven, that’s who I always wanted to play, it was Raven and I missed my chance,” Nacon told Screenrant while talking about Teen Titans show on the network.

“I remember I was watching like Teen Titans when I was little, I would watch Justice League, Teen Titans those are really so sick. And yeah, like I remember I watched this one movie that just recently came out, it’s the one with like Batman and his son and his son becomes Robin and then Robin teams up with Teen Titans,” Nacon added.

Raven is one of the most powerful members with tele-empathetic and teleportation powers. Also, she can send out her “Soul-Self” for a physical fight. In addition, she possesses Telekinesis powers and can manipulate objects.

Raven is a daughter of Angela Roth, also known as Arella, and demon Emperor Trigon. The character made its first appearance alongside superheroes like Cyborg and Starfire in 1980s DC Comics Presents #26. Teen Titans TV series recently cast Teagan Croft for Raven’s role.

Meanwhile, Nacon was recently promoted to a series regular for The Walking Dead Season 8. Her character Enid is a part of Rick’s band of survivors and a former resident of the Alexandria Safe-Zone.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the actress talked about the ongoing Season 8 and how it’s going to be different from Season 7. She revealed that there is going to be a war and her group is currently prepping for it.

“Well, it’s still going to be sad. This is a pretty sad show, but I feel like there’s a lot more courage and hope just because going into this fight where we left off in season 7. There’s going to war, but I feel like there’s a lot more courage and a lot more hope that shows up in each character. They’re wanting to win this. They’re wanting to get over this, and I feel like each character is stronger in a way this season,” Nacon said about Season 8.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays on AMC. Stay tuned for more updates and information.
