Krypton Trailer Teases Importance Of The Blood of House Of El

Just a few hours after releasing the teaser introducing House of Zod, SyFy has released another trailer introducing House of El, Superman’s family, for the upcoming series Krypton.

SyFy has released several teaser trailers for Krypton, the prequel Superman series. The latest 15-second clip shows House of El and a place that appears to be Fortress of Solitude. Seg-El, Superman’s grandfather, is seen entering the fortress with someone who appears to be Charys-El, Seg-El’s mother.

He kneels down to uncover Superman emblem. He cuts his hand and drops the blood to light up the emblem in its classic color scheme of red and yellow.

The blood of House-El will always bind us together,” the voiceover in the clip is heard saying.

Fans know from the previous post that Krypton focuses on Superman’s family House of El. It is set two generations before the greatest superhero of the universe was born. The show follows Seg-El who struggles to redeem the honor of his ostracized family as he tries to survive on the planet that he knows is doomed to be destroyed.

“Set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, KRYPTON follows Superman’s grandfather (Cameron Cuffe, “The Halcyon”) — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos,” reads the official synopsis for Krypton.

Based on DC Comics, Krypton is developed by David S. Goyer and Damian Kindler. The series stars Cameron Cuffe as Seg-El, Georgina Campbell as Lyta Zod, Ian McElhinney as Val-El (Seg’s grandfather), Elliot Cowan as Daron Vex, Ann Ogbomo as Alura Zod, Rasmus Hardiker as Kem, Wallis Day as Nyssa Vex, and Aaron Pierre as Dev-Em. The show is slated to premiere on March 21 on SyFy.
