Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 will not air until October this year, but information about the upcoming episodes have started to roll out. The latest update reveals the title of the premiere episode.
On his official account, showrunner Marc Guggenheim announced the title of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 episode 1. It will be officially called “The Virgin Gary.” No other details from the episode have been released. Meanwhile, Comicbook suggests that the title is a reference to one of the latest addition to the cast, Adam Tsekhman’ Gary Green. While the title does not reveal much about the plot of the episode, it is expected to shed light on Gary Green’s story.
Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 finale ended with a major cliffhanger. After their battle with Mallus, the team takes a vacation in Aruba which is interrupted by the unexpected arrival of John Constantine, who reveals a shocking news about the release of more than one demon when they broke time and freed Mallus.
According to the recently released synopsis for Legends of Tomorrow Season 4, the show picks up from where it left off in Season 3 and focuses on the events that take place after the defeat of Mallus. They soon discover how the release and defeat of Mallus led to a bigger problem and release of dangerous creatures known as “Fugitives.” These creatures are magical beings that originate from myths, Fairytales, and legends. This means the Legends will have to travel back and forth in time to stop these creatures from creating chaos in the present world.
In addition, fans can expect to see more changes in the plot after the exit of Keiynan Lonsdale’s Wally West.
“I’m not coming back full-time, but I’ll still be like in the DC universe, just not like, I won’t be filming ten months of the year every year,” Lonsdale said addressing the news of his exit.
Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 premieres Oct. 22 on The CW. Stay tuned for more updates and information on your favorite show.
