LEGO Movie 2: Over 25 New Hi-Res Still Of Batman, Superman, Emmet & More

LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part is inching closer to its worldwide release this February. But before that, Warner Bros. has shared over 25 new hi-resolution stills form the animated sequel to Pursue News, teasing what moviegoers should expect Emmet (Chris Pratt). Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks), Batman (Will Arnett) and the rest of Justice League.

The hi-res stills show Emmett and Wyldstyle along with Batman and the other in outer space exploring others parts of the galaxies. There are also stills of Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern. It looks like the entire Justice League will be in the movie. You can check out the images below.

LEGO Movie 2 takes place five years after the events from the first movie where everything was awesome. But the citizens are now facing a huge new threat from LEGO DUPLO invaders from outer space and they are wrecking everything faster than it can be rebuilt.

To restore harmony once again to the LEGO universe, Emmet, Batman and his team go far away to unexplored worlds to defeat the invaders. The team will also go to a strange galaxy where everything is a musical.

Some fans got a taste of this strange musical galaxy earlier from a Youtube ad which apparently loops for over five hours with strange character singing, “This song’s gonna get stuck inside your head”.

The LEGO Movie 2 is directed by Mike Mitchell (Trolls).  It is produced by Dan Lin, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Roy Lee, the team behind the LEGO film franchise since “The LEGO Movie” debuted in 2014, and by Jinko Gotoh. The screenplay is written by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, story by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller and Matthew Fogel.

LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part will be hitting theatres in 2D and 3D on February 8, 2019. But according to Business Wire, Warner Bros, as part of their “Awesome week” event, the studio will be screening the movie in 500 theaters across North America on January 26, Saturday. Tickets are already on sale.
