Loki season 2’s Ouroboros (Ke Huy Quan) may be a pivotal character in understanding the TVA’s existence according to a new rumor. It was earlier revealed the EEAAO actor plays the “main tech guy” for TVA but a recent follow-up from the same scooper reveals Loki season 2 episode 1 will introduce Ouroboros a.k.a OB as the brains behind all the technology built for the Time Variance Authority. The season 2 trailer is expected to drop during SDCC.

The consequences of the Loki season 1 finale will have the god of Mischief “time slipping” between the past and present in TVA time, claims a new insider report for the anticipated Disney Plus series. The follow-up to the Tom Hiddleston starrer series which introduced the concept of branched timelines and the Kang variant He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors) is digging deeper into MCU’s multiverse saga in season 2.
The ending of Loki season 1 showed Loki enter a timeline where neither Mobius (Owen Wilson) nor Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) has encountered him. The cliffhanger sequence ends by indicating He Who Remains control this branch without any manipulative lie such as the Time Keepers. But according to the latest information from CWGST – Loki will also be in the past, as indicated in set photos and it seems both timelines will be shown in Loki season 2 episode 1.
The first episode of season 2 will introduce Ouroboros who will invent a “device to bring Loki back to the present and shows how the TVA is able to exist out of time”. The tech is called “The Time Loom” and it uses the energy from the time stream to remain outside of it. However, with the death of He Who Remains – the new branches are overloading the system.

More information on the second segment of Loki comes from Cosmic Circus, stating that a section of the season will transpire in 1893 when the World’s Columbian Exposition happened in Chicago, Illinois. Loki and Mobius will encounter another Kang variant known as Victor Timely.
The outlet also says a “sizeable” action scene will take place in this setting and would involve Miss Minutes too alongside Loki, Mobius and Victor Timely. The teasing scenes from Disney Plus’ sizzle release for what’s “Streaming in 2023” showed the buddy cop duo suited in Tuxedo for the exhibition with Loki showing off his illusion projections. It is possible the fight sequence could roll out during this incident but we will learn more when the first trailer arrives during San Diego Comic-Con 2023.
Loki season 2 will be available to stream from October 6 on Disney+.
