Loki season 2 – Kate Dickie’s evil role & EEAAO star Ke Huy Quan’s Ouroboros character explained

Loki season 2 will be introducing new TVA agents, one of which will be played by Ke Huy Quan as Ouroboros and a villain that comes likely as a consequence of Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) killing He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors). Going by the latest insider report, the antagonist role will be played by Kate Dickie.

After that Ant-Man 3 post-credits scene referenced Loki season 2, anticipation to watch the Tom Hiddleston starrer Disney Plus series’ follow-up story has only amplified. MCU fans have been restless since watching the Kang variant that Loki and Mobius (Owen Wilson) encounter in another time period following their Pruning by the TVA in season 1.

Loki season 2 is yet to land a release date although there’s been some indication it would arrive this summer. Nonetheless, it isn’t stopping insiders from sharing some breadcrumbs on the new characters playing a pivotal role in the Time Variance Authority arc. Starting with EEAAO star Ke Huy Quan – scooper MyTimetoShineHello has confirmed he will appear as a “tech guy for the TVA” (a scoop that was first put out by DanielRPK).

Huy Quan will generally be known as Bo instead of Ouroboros. Although there’s no word if his character would be among the baddies or side with Loki, the insider indicates he will be an important character. Moreover, MTTSH also provided information on Dickie’s villain character.

Kate Dickie is an evil general in Loki season 2, claims a Marvel insider

It’s been long rumored Kate Dickie could appear as an older version of Sylvie. It was speculated the 52-year-old star would be a villain in the MCU series and MTTSH’s tweet adds to that by stating she “is playing an evil general” who has her soldiers, “former TVA agents”.

The insider also claims Dickie’s character will be on a mission to destroy the splinter timelines that were created as a result of He Who Remains’ death. Readers can check it out below.

Meanwhile, Ke Huy Quan’s historic win at the SAG Awards for his role in Everything Everywhere All at Once could arguably work in Marvel Studios’ favor. In fact, the MCU fandom seems already curious about Huy Quan’s role in season 2 and the character could possibly find the same favoritism as did Wilson’s Mobius.
