Margot Robbie reportedly offered Fantastic Four’s Sue Storm role, details on Adam Driver’s Mr. Fantastic casting & Johnny Storm update

Marvel Studios may be eyeing DCU’s Harley Quinn actor Margot Robbie to portray Fantastic Four‘s Sue Storm or better – a new rumor claims she has already been offered the role. Earlier last week – it was claimed Mila Kunis was in consideration to play MCU’s Invisible Woman but the actress herself dismissed it though revealed she knows who would play the Marvel character.

Fantastic Four casting news continues to have a grip over Marvel fans’ attention on social media. After reports emerged that Gladiator 2‘s Paul Mescal could be MCU’s Johnny Storm (if he accepts). However, scooper MyTimetoShineHello indicated in their recent update saying, “looks like there’s an opening for Johnny again” suggesting he may have passed on the Marvel role.

Coming to Sue Storm, long-time credible insider DanielRPK has revealed Margot Robbie has been offered the Invisible Woman role in Matt Shakman‘s Fantastic Four movie. But nothing is certain until the Harley Quinn star signs a deal with MCU.

Readers are advised to take the casting development rumors with a big grain of salt as the names mentioned by scoopers are part of the shortlist. So it remains to be seen which actors could end up signing a contract with Marvel Studios.

It’s been rumored Adam Driver is most likely to play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic. Scooper MTTSH also recently posted, “I hear Driver is all but set as Reed”. From the looks of it, an announcement is imminent once Marvel Studios bags all four characters needed for Marvel’s first family feature.

Meanwhile, Margot Robbie fans are going gaga over her Met Gala 2023 appearance – wearing Chanel, the same vintage dress worn by Cindy Crawford in 1993. Stans are hoping she gets quizzed about the Sue Storm rumor question though there has been no response from her as of this writing.

Robbie is currently the talk of the town with growing anticipation for her titular performance in Greta Gerwig‘s Barbie movie, which is posed to compete with Oppenheimer. However, it’s unclear when The Suicide Squad actor could reprise as Harley Quinn in James Gunn‘s DCU although the DC Studios CEO has assured her involvement in the new interconnected universe.

Fantastic 4 is one of the few Phase 6 titles announced so far and is scheduled to release on February 14, 2025.
