Marvel fans are going wild for She-Hulk trailer’s Jennifer Walters taking control of her dating life

Disney Plus’s Marvel Studios has released a debut trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law highlighting Jennifer Walters’s (Tatiana Maslany) arrival to Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the extended first look offers a lot of plot details from confirming Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner, Abomination from Incredible Hulk to new supervillains like Frog-Man – fans were rather more in awe seeing the Lawyer turned green hulk taking control of her dating life, literally!

It looks like the upcoming Disney Plus series will address how She-Hulk gets her powers. Fortunately, the OG Hulk is also by her side helping Walters understand her gamma-powered transformation, which ticks off either by anger or fear. But unlike Banner’s origin story, Walters doesn’t have to hide away her ability in fear of the government rather she is the face of a superhuman law division. It’s the opposite of her desire to be a normal anonymous lawyer. But the bigger hurdle? Dating in her 30s and Marvel fans are in love with her preference as well as her tenacity in taking control. Readers can check out reactions below.

Besides wild reactions to that ending shot in the She-Hulk trailer – some fans are concerned by the unfinished-looking CGI in portraying the character’s skin tone. It’s unclear if VFX will look more polished on its release.  Another takeaway for She-Hulk fans is the confirmation that Walters will break the fourth wall in the Disney Plus series, an iconic comic relief that only Deadpool has portrayed in live-action so far.

Directed by Kat Coiro from a series penned by Jessica Gao, She-Hulk also stars Jameela Jamil, Tim Roth & more. Marvel recently confirmed Benedict Wong will also appear in the Disney+ series.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will be available for streaming from August 17 on Disney Plus.
