Marvel News: Black Panther Casting News, Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer, Producer Talks Sequel

In this week’s Marvel news, a new female character has been revealed for Black Panther. It has been confirmed that Letitia Wright will play as Shuri in the MCU movie. The actress’s role has great potential and possible continuation as Shuri is T’Challa’s sister.

The scoop was revealed at Cinemacon during the presentation earlier this week. Eric Vespe of Ain’t It Cool News captured a photo at the event which revealed the entire cast of Black Panther. Wright as Shuri can be seen in the image below, left to Martin Freeman.

In other news, Marvel Entertainment dropped trailer two for Spider-Man: Homecoming. The footage shows the young spidey in trouble, trying to save innocent lives. Fortunately, An Avenger comes to the rescue.

Spider-Man’s attempt to keep a sinking ship together could have ripped him apart if Iron Man hadn’t assisted. Unfortunately, the turmoil between both superheroes seems to force Spider-Man to be on his own during his crusade to save his town. Fans can watch the trailer below.

While fans may be excited about the involvement of Spider-Man with Avenger, it looks it won’t continue for upcoming projects after the sequel.

“One of the things that I think is so amazing about this experience is that you don’t have studios deciding to work together to make a film very often,” Pascal said. “In fact, it may never happen again… after we do the sequel.”

The producer went on to talk about the commitment of Disney, Marvel and Sony in making of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Fans can check out the video below for more details.
