Since wrapping up Marvel’s Infinity War, The Russo Brothers have been quick at taking up Avengers 4. Recently at San Diego Comic-Con, the Joe Russo also revealed that production would begin sometime around the second week of August.
The Russo brothers will begin the project filming in Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Earlier, the directors announced the wrap up of Avengers: Infinity War from the same location.
Recently, it has come to light that Avengers 4 production will also take place in Tokyo, Japan. The news comes from Twitter account Atlanta Filming who has in the past shared exciting Marvel scoops. Last month, the user also shared Infinity War set photos during the filming in Atlanta.
It’s exciting to hear that Avengers 4 will be filming in other international regions such as Japan. It would be quite thrilling to see if any action and destruction would take place in scenes filmed in Tokyo.
A casting call has already been sought after by the studio. It has been stated that they require extras for Japanese cafe patrons and gangers. The following details provide some hints to the filming that would take place.
Japanese Gangsters extras:
– Male ages 20-49
– Slender build, this will be a night shoot and will involve rain work and facial prosthetics
Japanese Cafe Patrons extras:
– Females and Males ages 18-80
– This rainy scene is being shot between August 17-18
Avengers: Infinity War hits theatres on May 4th, 2018. Earlier at the D23 Expo, Marvel screened some footage from the film exclusively for the attendees. The untitled Avengers 4 is scheduled for release on May 3rd, 2019.
