‘Maybe just scrap it..’: DC fans react to The Flash star Ezra Miller’s grooming minor allegations

Ezra Miller’s latest child grooming controversy may have reached the boiling point that could jeopardize The Flash movie completely or at least according to film insiders and fan’s opinions. The response comes following recent allegations from a parent that the DC Film and Fantastic Beasts actor influenced their adolescent in 2016 when she was 12 years old.

The Flash movie has so far tip-toed away from the PR damage caused by Miller’s multiple arrests in Hawaii. Though some fans are convinced that the recent accusation (via TMZ) from Tokata Iron Eyes’ parents that Miller supplied LSD, Marijuana and alcohol may be the nail in the coffin to the  DC speedster film, as even movie insider Grace Randolph questioned, “They’d have to reshoot the entire The Flash film – maybe just scrap it…?.” Still, Tokata’s statement to her parents’ claims saying it “hold no weight” has some of Miller’s fans coming for the star’s defense. Readers can check out reactions below.

From directors being replaced left and right to talks to substituting Miller’s role with another actor – The Flash movie has seen it all throughout its 10 years of limbo since being greenlit. But on the bright side, The Flash movie was reportedly well-received during its latest test audience screening at WBD and the studio was even apparently enthusiastic for the DC Multiverse flick as a strong theatre-worthy title. Unfortunately, it’s uncertain if the new development in Miller’s grooming allegation could impact the studio’s decision. A recent rumor had also stated Miller was in LA to record ADR (Automated dialogue replacement) for the movie.

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script penned by Christina Hodson, The Flash also stars Ben Affleck as The Batman and Michael Keaton playing the Dark Knight from Burtonverse, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Michael Shannon reprising as Zod and Antje Traue as Faora from Man of Steel, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West.

The Flash is scheduled to hit theatres on June 23, 2023.
