MCU Directors Tweet Positive Reviews For Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2

Since Marvel Studios began the advance screening for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, it’s been a winning streak for the sequel film. Fans and critics have rushed to twitter to express their reactions.

Rotten Tomatoes’ Editor-in-Chief also acclaimed the movie on Twitter. But we found more. Recently, some of the Marvel Directors seem to have also watched Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 during its advance premiere. As expected, they had nothing but appraisal for the film.

Doctor Strange director Taika Waititi tweeted that “James Gunn has made a beautiful, fun, crazy and emotional film.” He also rated the movie “10/10.”

Next in the line was Ant-Man’s Peyton Reed. The director had the perfect response saying “next year, Baby Groot will unseat Tatum O’Neal as the youngest actor to ever win an Oscar.”

On the other side, DC Comics’ Geoff Johns also had kind words to share with James Gunn. Although he still hadn’t watched the film, Johns wrote, “Cannot wait for GotG2!!.”

For those confused by the conversation Johns and Gunn were caught in, the two acted as umpires to put an end to a meaningless fight among a DC and Marvel fan. Fans can find all the tweets embedded below.

As Gunn himself stated in earlier interviews, it looks like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will take the audience on an emotional ride. Fortunately, the audience will also have a lot of laughter along with a few tears.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 releases on May 5th. the movie takes places two months after the events that unfolded in the original movie.
