Lately, we have been hearing a lot of exciting news for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Earlier yesterday, it was revealed that Sylvester Stallone would play as Stakar a.k.a StarHawk. A character that isn’t very fond of Yondu in the upcoming sequel.

Fans got to know more about the Syl’s character thanks to the press notes shared by Stitch Kingdom on Twitter. The tweet has been embedded below.

While as exciting as Syl’s role sounds, Fans were soon distracted by another exciting social media post by James Gunn. The director announced that he will be directing and writing the next installment as well. Gunn revealed the news on his official Facebook page. Fans can check out the post below.

In Today’s news, Screen Rant announced that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has four post-credit scenes. But the story was later updated thanks to Gunn who confirmed that it was “five, actually”. Tweet embedded below.

In more GOTG news, Chris Pratt and rest of the Guardians cast were recently on Jimmy Kimmel. The Starlord actor also confirmed that Stallone is in the upcoming sequel. Check out the video below.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has already been screened for the media in selected cities. As expected, the film has only received mass positive reviews. Rotten Tomatoes Editor-in-Chief revealed in a recent tweet that the movie is emotional. Tweet can be found below.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 releases on May 5th. the sequel takes place two months after the events that unfolded in the original movie.
