With all eyes currently on Marvel Studio’s Avengers: Infinity War, the film studio has already kicked off the promotional and marketing campaign for the next in line film, Ant-Man & the Wasp. A new Ant-Man and the Wasp promotional art tease the return of Giant Man in the film. Fans already got a glimpse of the super-sized hero in the first trailer.
A picture of a t-shirt recently posted by a Reddit user shows the Giant Man hiding, peaking behind a large building. You can check out the post below.
Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang, a.k.a. Ant-Man first appeared as Giant-Man in 2016 released Captain America: Civil War while trying to help Captain America and Bucky escape Team Iron Man. Along with the power to shrink and communicate with insects, Ant-Man also has the ability to blow up in size.
As Ant-man hasn’t yet appeared in any of the Avengers: Infinity War official posters or promotional material, it remains a big mystery if the bug-sized superhero will make it to the film or not. Talking more about Ant-Man and the Wasp, the film is expected to be a prequel to the events of the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War.
Reports are that the entire opening of Ant-Man & the Wasp is being currently reshot in Los Angeles after the sequence didn’t play well with test audiences.
The Ant-Man sequel will introduce Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne a.k.a. The Wasp. According to director Peyton Reed, The Wasp will have a full-fledged role in the upcoming movie.
“It was important to me, in this movie called Ant-Man and The Wasp, that she’s not a supporting character,” Reed added. “She’s a lead character. She’s become a fully-formed hero. She really was, along with Sue Storm of the Fantastic Four, one of the first female Marvel heroes. I feel a certain responsibility with The Wasp.”
The Wasp is expected to appear in the untitled Avengers 4 film, which is due in 2019.
Ant-Man & The Wasp is set to hit theatres screens on July 6, 2018.
Don’t know if this has been posted yet but Spoiler-y for A-M&TW from marvelstudios
