James Wan’s Aquaman is merely a month away from its official release. The film follows the story of Arthur Curry who goes on a quest to find out his true identity. He will be seen going up against his brother, King  Orm and the villainous Black Manta to take on his role as the King of Atlantis.

A new behind-the-scenes image from Aquaman has surfaced online that reveals Ludi Lin’s transformation into Commander Murk, the leader of Atlantis’s frontline Men-of-War army. He served Arthur Curry’s brother, King Orm, and later served Aquaman. The picture shows Lin’s transformation into Commander Murk with the battle-scarred makeup on. WB has finally released a new Aquaman trailer that depicts Arthur Curry’s (Jason Momoa) struggle to find out if he belongs more to the surface world or to the sea. The footage offers the first extensive look at Arthur’s mentor Willem Dafoe’s Nuidis Vulko, who will help him find a special trident to save the underwater city of Atlantis.

The trailer release coincides with the film’s tickets going on sale. Fandango’s Managing Editor, Erik Davis, has posted an exclusive new Aquaman banner to announce a special offer for fans. Fans who reserve their tickets through Fandango will get five free digital comics. There’s also good news for Amazon Prime members who will be able to see the movie 5 days early. According to Box Office Pro, the upcoming film is estimated to earn between $40-60 million over its first three days of release.

Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as the title character, Amber Heard as Mera, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Patrick Wilson as Orm / Ocean Master, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, Ludi Lin as Captain Murk, and Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry.

Aquaman will swim in theatres on December 21, 2018.
