Multiple booths have been set up around the Comic-Con show floor showcasing costumes and statues of the upcoming film’s characters including Aquaman, Mera, and Black Manta.  There a big exhibit that showcases the DC superhero’s underwater world with a lot of sea creatures. Toy making company Mattel has also debuted 12 Aquaman action figures at Comic-Con that reveal the first look at some of the new characters.

Director James Wan recently shared a photo of an Aquaman poster on social media which will likely be made available for SDCC attendees today. The poster has almost all the major characters from the movie including Arthur Curry as Jason Momoa, Mera as Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master Orm wearing the Atlantean war helmet, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta wearing the iconic helmet. There’s also the terrifying undersea race, the Trench, popping up in the background.

While Aquaman is currently set to debut in theatres on December 21, 2018, rumors are rife that the filmmakers are planning to change the film’s release date to avoid competition from other big titles at the box office.
