New Arrowverse Elseworlds Crossover Promo Shows Bat Signal & Features Batwoman

The highly anticipated Arrowverse Crossover Elseworlds will span across three CW shows Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl. The crossover will also introduce Batwoman and Gotham City ahead of the DC heroine’s solo spinoff series.

The makers have rolled out a brand new promo for the upcoming crossover event that shows Ruby Rose’s Batwoman in action. The teaser starts off by showing Batwoman standing atop a building with a man narrating, “You don’t believe in Batman?”.

In the promo, Green Arrow (Grant Gustin) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) can be seen crossing paths with The Caped Crusader’s feminine counterpart. The promo also features the first official mention of Batman in The Arrowverse. It continues with the tagline “Destiny Will Be Rewritten” and ends with Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) saying “That’s not Batman” upon seeing Batwoman.

Rose will make her first appearance as Batwoman during the second hour of the upcoming crossover in the Arrow episode of the event, which will air on Monday, December 10th.

You can check out the promo video below.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Rose opened up about her experience of donning the full, comic-book-accurate red wig, cape, and cowl.

“It’s a strange feeling to put on a suit like this that has been custom made for you knowing that it’s going to transform you into a character that does amazing things,” Rose said. “You feel very empowered and it just instantly changes everything you feel in that moment.”

The upcoming Arrowverse Crossover Elseworlds will see Oliver (Stephen Amell), Barry (Gustin), and Kara (Melissa Benoist) travel to Gotham City to track down Arkham Asylum doc John Deegan (Jeremy Davies). It will also see Superman making an appearance, with Tyler Hoechlin reprising the role from Supergirl, and Elizabeth Tulloch portraying Lois Lane in the character’s Arrowverse debut.

The Arrowverse Crossover Elseworlds event will begin with The Flash episode airing on Sunday, December 9 and then continue with Arrow on Monday, December 10 and end with Supergirl on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
