Excitement for Marvel Studios’ first ever female-led superhero film Captain Marvel is building up fast among fans. While there’s currently no word on when fans can expect an official poster or teaser clip to be out, the film studio continues to roll out promotional materials for the movie.
Some new merchandise has surfaced online and is listed on Sideshow. The Captain Marvel leather tote bag from Loungefly features Carol Danvers flying and her logo in between some beautiful oversized colorful flowers that match the red, blue, and gold color theme.
The faux leather tote bag with applique details and an adjustable shoulder strap is available for pre-orders for $64. The bag is listed with an expected shipping date between Oct. – Dec. 2018.
Recently, two new collectible Captain Marvel notebooks were also found listed on Amazon for pre-orders. While, the first featured Brie Larson’s titular superhero on the cover, the other notebook had the Captain Marvel logo and emblem on its cover. The notebooks have been listed with an April 2 launch date.
The launch of merchandise for the movie indicates that Marvel Studios has already begun the marketing and promotions. And with just six months left for the film’s release, fans can expect an official poster or teaser clip coming their way pretty soon.
Some fans have even made a hilarious rap video calling out the studio to release Captain Marvel trailer. You can check out the rap video below.
Set in the 1990s amid the Kree-Skrull War, the Captain Marvel film will tell the origin story of the Marvel female superhero. Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the film also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg, Gemma Chan, Djimon Hounsou, Lashana Lynch, Algenis Perez Soto, McKenna Grace, Lee Pace, Rune Temte, and Jude Law.
Captain Marvel will arrive in theaters on March 8, 2019.
