Deadpool 2 Final Trailer Mocks DC & Thanos, Clip Teases Nearing Release

Fox has dropped the final trailer for Deadpool 2 and it has all sorts of jokes, R rated violence and big reveals for the fans. Furthermore, To mark Deadpool 2’s 100 days release date countdown, the film’s official Twitter account also posted a new teaser. The teaser shows the Merc With A Mouth holding a painting plate in his hands and standing in front of a painting which has the words ‘One Month’ written.

The final trailer gives fans their first look at Shatterstar. Furthermore, it also shows glimpses of the X-Force’s members abilities. Domino, as she states, luck is her superpower although the Merc with a mouth finds it hard to believe.

Notably, Deadpool 2 tickets are now on sale. The expectations from the upcoming film are very high considering the fact that the first Deadpool film earned a then record-breaking $132 million during its first weekend in 2016. It was the biggest opening weekend ever earned by an R-rated film. The film went on to make a total of $363 million at the domestic box office and a whopping $783 million at the worldwide box office.

As far as Deadpool 2 is concerned, the film hasn’t been tracking quite as high. According to Box Office Pro, the Deadpool sequel is expected to earn around $100 million in its first three days. Based on the estimates, Deadpool 2 is likely to end its domestic run with a total of $242 million, which is way too low as compared to the original film.

Talking more about the film, Deadpool 2 is directed by David Leitch and features Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson (Deadpool), Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Josh Brolin as Nathan Summers (Cable), and Zazie Beetz as Neena Thurman (Domino) in the lead roles.

Earlier this week, Fox also released teaser trailers in three parts during the presentation of AMC’s television series The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and Talking Dead.

Deadpool 2 is releasing in less than a month after Avengers: Infinity War and one week before Solo: A Star Wars Story. It is set to hit screens on May 18, 2018.
