New Star Wars Episode 9 Set Pictures Features A Jungle Setting With Tall Trees & Vines

Some new leaked pictures from Star Wars Episode 9 second Black Park set have surfaced online featuring a jungle area with tall trees and vines, courtesy of Making Star Wars. The landscape of the jungle looks quite similar to Endor in Return of the Jedi.

Located near Pinewood Studios in England, Black Park is where the majority of the new Star Wars movie is being filmed. Another Black Park set of Star Wars 9 featured in pictures leaked last month which gave fans the first glimpse of the Millennium Falcon.

You can check out the set pictures below.

As Star Wars Episode 9 is the final chapter in the Skywalker Saga which also includes 2015’s The Force Awakens in and 2017’s The Last Jedi, fans are quite excited to know where the film is heading to.

Another set of on-set pictures leaked last month showcased Finn (John Boyega), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), the fan-favorite Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) and series newcomer Naomi Ackie in rough terrain conditions. The location setting appeared much drier than the ecosystems seen in the latest photos. This has left fans wondering if Finn, Poe, and Chewbacca have left Rey behind in the Millennium Falcon.

In related news, actor Billy Dee Williams who is set to reprise the iconic role of Lando Calrissian in Star Wars Episode 9 was spotted working hard in the gym in a new workout video. The 81-year old tweeted a video of himself exercising with a personal trainer to get back into fighting form to take on the invading First Order.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars Episode 9 stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, and newcomers Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant. Late actress Carrie Fisher will also make an appearance as Leia Organa through unused footage captured during Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Star Wars Episode 9 is slated to arrive in theaters in December of 2019.
