Mark Strong Gets Into Action As Dr. Sivana In Shazam! Set Video

The production of DC Films’ upcoming superhero movie Shazam! is going on in full swing in Toronto. A number of leaked pictures and videos have already hit the internet offering fans a glimpse of Zachary Levi donning the Shazam superhero costume. Finally, now, we have one new video that shows Mark Strong as villainous Doctor Sivana coming face to face with the superhero.

The video clip was shared on Twitter by a user who goes by the name jeremy r! hudson. In the clip, Sivana can be seen tossing aside the armed policemen with a mere gesture. He has also attacked Shazam who is seen lying on top of the crushed cop car, before rolling off to the side and standing up again. You can check out the video below.

The sequence likely takes place after Shazam! rescues civilians from what appears to be a speeding bus, which was captured in another set video.

Touted as a humorous and lighthearted movie, Shazam! will focus on the story of a teenage boy, Billy Batson, played by Asher Angel, who transforms himself into a superhero by uttering the word Shazam. Notably, in director David F. Sandberg’s film, Doctor Sivana is a notorious mastermind who wants to harness Shazam’s magical powers to fulfill his wicked purposes.

It is speculated that the film has some connection with Batman’s Gotham City. This has left fans wondering if they will get to see their favorite superhero Batman doing a cameo in the upcoming film.

Reports are that Warner Bros. might officially unveil Zachary Levi’s Shazam superhero costume at the WonderCon 2018 event scheduled to take place at the end of this month. It is expected that the makers would start marketing Shazam! from the stage itself.

Shazam! will get rolled out in theaters on April 5, 2019.
