All episodes from the Alaqua Cox-led MCU series, Echo will be available to stream in November, as confirmed by Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige at Tuesday’s Disney Upfront presentation. However, fans and Marvel insiders have questioned the binge-watch release model since Loki season 2 has a weekly release schedule set to stream on October 6.
The Hawkeye spin-off series was originally lined up for a Summer 2023 release but was revealed in December 2022 that the Marvel show was significantly delayed indicating a release sometime at the year-end. Even so, the show has managed to stay on fans’ radar thanks to reports suggesting there is a Daredevil cameo in episode 2, as claimed by scooper CanWeGetSomeToast.
The talent behind the screen for Echo such as showrunner Marion Dayre who served as a writer for Better Call Saul. & Dara Resnik and Ken Kristensen, who penned a couple of episodes for Daredevil season 3 and Jon Berrnthal‘s The Punisher have been a convincing factor for fans to hold on to their faith in the series. However, the studio’s decision to opt-out of the weekly release model for Echo has not received a good reception.
Still, fans and critics have been suspicious of Marvel’s release model for Echo – which makes it the only MCU-Disney Plus series to debut all episodes on its release. Insiders like Cosmic Circus ( a reputable site known for dropping scoops) writer Alex P have stated, “It’s trippy, it’s spiritual and it’s gonna be the show that I want everyone to keep their expectations” so when it arrives “it sucker punches everyone with a “this is actually kinda cool” reaction”.

Even so, other scoopers like Big Screen Leaks and The DisInsider’s Skyler Shuler have questioned the strategy suggesting the binge watch release plan “doesn’t give me much faith in the show”. Echo will arrive on November 29. Readers can check out reactions below.
Oh they really have no hope in Echo huh?
Watch it be the best one. 💀💀 pic.twitter.com/CQyTyvHWZu

i’d rather marvel drop echo all at once instead of hearing “where’s daredevil?” for 10 weeks or them teasing him every episode week after week.

When #Echo is the only Marvel show to get a binge drop https://t.co/1VF5Gw5QFs pic.twitter.com/Ud7G5unvzh

With the ECHO release strategy it seems like they don't care AT ALL about the show and want people back for DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN…
What do you think about them dropping all ECHO episodes at once? https://t.co/SKkB5G9dMZ

It also has writers from Daredevil Season 3 too https://t.co/AG1DjxiaH3

It’s trippy, it’s spiritual and it’s gonna be the show that I want everyone to keep their expectations low for so that when it drops in Nov, it sucker punches everyone with a “this is actually kinda cool” reaction. https://t.co/GGuXtr7HNk

Echo’s release style makes me believe that rumor about them splitting Born Again into 2 parts (I don’t know if that’s been debunked yet)
For example:
The first 9 episodes of Daredevil released at once in April, the last 9 episodes released at once in June or July pic.twitter.com/2XCQFvdJtA

Lol, people complained about the weekly release model for MCU shows. Echo gets the binge release model and now it’s Marvel has no faith in the show. Can y’all make up your goddamn minds please. #DisneyUpfront pic.twitter.com/s8QrHjB9n1

Echo dropping ALL of its episodes at once feels like Marvel wants it out of people’s minds ASAP, which is unfortunate :/
Everything I’ve heard about this project sounds fantastic. At least we get a Daredevil cameo in Episode 2 ¯_(ツ)_/¯ https://t.co/c1ddfvRZ0Y

I’m seeing a lot of echo disrespect so here’s a reminder of the talent behind the show pic.twitter.com/A5RQrSfdM3

Dropping all Echo episodes at once is wild to me especially when there’s been very little push in promotion so far? I don’t see the strategy. My only fear with Echo is I don’t want the show set up for disaster. I want her to flourish. https://t.co/ro20gydOKd

dont rlly care abt loki. i wish echo would have a weekly release tho!! she deserves her moment like every other show https://t.co/YoCT93LujL

It’s disappointing Echo is getting all episodes released at once. I loved her character in Hawkeye. https://t.co/UO0qnUb89j pic.twitter.com/lfZwJu0ioa

This release model doesn’t give me much faith in the show. It makes it feel like they want less engagement from audiences over the course of the weeks. I hope I’m wrong. https://t.co/XDuOzHM0tD

Hmmm I’m curious why the sudden change in release strategy for Echo. This will be the first time an MCU Disney+ series doesn’t have a weekly release model. Echo deserves just as much fanfare as any other series so hopefully we’ll see the marketing reflect that https://t.co/P7cjQN3wnB

Anyone who thinks that Marvel Studios isn't listening to fans isn't paying attention.
None of us were more than moderately excited for #Echo (one trailer can fix that BTW) so they are getting creative and dropping it all at once.
They know we judge binge shows different. https://t.co/I1NsjeA7IR

Meanwhile, Loki season 2 does not appear to be overshadowed by Jonathan Majors’ controversy or at least for now. The Tom Hiddleston starrer season 2 will release on October 6 so fans are anticipating a trailer release though Kevin Feige offered an exclusive look at Loki season 2 for Disney Plus Upfront attendees.
A trailer for the Hawkeye spin-off show was showcased at Disney Upfront too which showed Vincent D’Onofrio‘s Kingpin with his eye wound. While a preview for Samuel L. Jackson’s Secret Invasion was presented as well, Marvel screened the same footage shown at D23.
Watching a scene from #SecretInvasion. It’s the same scene involving Nick Fury and Rhodey shown at D23. #DisneyUpfront

Based on what I saw from the trailer #Echo at the #DisneyUpfront the series looks very interesting and I want to see it. I think under Bob Iger, Kevin Feige is trying something different with the show by putting all the episodes out at one time.
Give it a chance.
