Earlier on Tuesday, the entire star-studded all-female cast of Ocean’s 8 left fans thrilled with their photo call at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York during their press conference. A group still of all the actresses captured during the event has been receiving a lot of love from fans and the media.
Now, Warner Bros. has shared a set of new photos of the cast from the movie itself. One of the stills offers a new look at James Corden as John Frazier beside Richard Armitage as Claude Becker.
Corden plays the role of an Insurance investigator whereas the Hobbits actor Armitage will appear as Daphne’s (Anne Hathaway) date.
The image suggests nothing good for Claude Becker as he would likely be a pawn in the grand heist. but Frazier might be behind
Another still shows Corden’s Frazier having a chat with Sandra Bullock’s Debbie Ocean. This further suggests that Frazier is also in on the heist and will aid by doing his part of the job in dodging the police and making sure they are not the “prime suspect’.
You can check out the photos below.
Directed by The Hunger Games fame director Gary Ross, Ocean’s 8 stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter playing the titular eight characters.
Ocean’s 8 also stars James Corden as an insurance investigator trying to put the pieces together, and Richard Armitage as Kluger’s unwitting date at the Gala.
During her 5 years of time in prison, Debbie has been devising the biggest heist of her life. To execute it, She brings together a team of the best in their field, starting with her partner-in-crime Lou Miller (Cate Blanchett). Together, they recruit a crew of specialists: jeweler Amita (Kaling); street con Constance (Awkwafina); expert fence Tammy (Paulson); hacker Nine Ball (Rihanna); and fashion designer Rose (Bonham Carter).
The titular eight will then target a $150 million dollars worth diamond necklace which will be around the neck of world-famous actress Daphne Kluger (Hathaway), who will be centerstage at the event of the year, the Met Gala.
Like all movies in the Ocean’s franchise, its evident that the team will manage to pull off the heist. but as always, the twist in plot lies in how the titular eight will execute the job.
Ocean’s 8 will hit theaters on June 8th, 2018.
