While Marvel fans were all excited with the new trailer release of Black Panther yesterday, shooting for Marvel Sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp is going on a neck breaking speed in Atlanta.
A few set of photographs featuring Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly in their Ant-Man and the Wasp costumes are doing the rounds since yesterday. The set images were shared byJusJared. Ant-Man and the Wasp will be the first movie from Marvel Studios with a female co-lead.
Peyton Reed took over the helm of directing the film after Edgar Wright left exactly three months before the film’s production was to start. The script of the Ant-Man and the Wasp was co-authored by Gabriel Ferrari, Andrew Barrer, Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, and Rudd.

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: “Ant-Man and The Wasp.” In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.
Ant-Man and the Wasp will hit the theaters on July 6, 2018. The star-cast includes Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/Wasp, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, Michael Peña as Luis, T.I. as Dave, Abby Ryder Fortson as Cassie Lang, Judy Greer as Maggie, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster, Hannah John-Kamen as the Ghost and Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch.
