Paul Rudd, dressed up in his new Ant-Man costume, answered few questions for his fans last night during HBO’s Night of Too Many Stars. The question and answer in a recorded segment, taken on the set of Ant-Man and the Wasp was meant to help raise money for Autism.
The production work on Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp is going on in full swing. Paul Rudd, who answered few of his fans questions started with saying that Marvel has allowed him to appear in the suit to help raise money for Autism.
None of the questions were related to Ant-Man and the Wasp, and that might be because it was a comedy show. All the pre-arranged questions were related to his film I Love You Man and especially his line from the film, “slap da bass”.
There were no spoilers in his answers. Fans anyways got to see him in the newest version of the suit. Rudd pointed out that Marvel makes slight changes to the costumes for every film. The suit’s look has no doubt been inspired from the original film. Though the color in that light seemed to have more shades of copper than red, it might not be the case in the film.
Paul Rudd seemed a little frustrated as he read the questions and then questioned his team, “Doesn’t anybody read this beforehand?” The only question that mentioned Ant-Man and the Wasp was from one of his fans Thomas who wrote, “I was wondering if there is going to be a scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp where you slap the bass?”. Rudd, who seemed to get impatience retorted angrily (after abusing the sender), “Yes Thomas, totally…there is absolutely a scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp where they slap at the bass.”
Recently, Evangeline Lilly, who plays the Wasp in the film shared her feelings of her last day on the set of Ant-Man and the Wasp on her Facebook page.
Ant-Man and the Wasp will see the return of Paul Rudd who will essay the title role. Evangeline Lilly, who plays the Wasp, will make her first appearance as a superhero in the sequel. Ant-Man and the Wasp will release in theaters on July 6, 2018.
