Reports Of Elder Abuse To Stan Lee & Video From SVCC Enrage Fans

Marvel fans got really upset on watching a video which shows the legendary Marvel creator, Stan Lee, being directed on how to spell his own name while signing comic books at the Silicon Valley Comic Con held this weekend.

The video of the 95-year-old Lee being told by Keya Morgan, his representative at the show, how to spell his own name was posted on Instagram by a fan who attended the event over the weekend. It was then shared by Bleeding Cool News. The comic book legend is credited with creating some of the most popular comic book characters Spider-Man, Black Panther and the X-Men.

A lot of fans who attended the Silicon Valley Comic Con took to social media to express their concerns about Lee overall well-being. They blamed the convention organizers for overlooking Stan Lee’s health conditions and not giving him proper breaks. Some others pointed out that he looked completely tired during the photo op sessions. It seemed like he hadn’t fully recovered from his bout with pneumonia. Lee was hospitalized back in February after suffering from an irregular heartbeat.

Stan used to say a word or two and smile, not here. Impersonal signing machine. I was very displeased with their handling of him. They should have canceled his appearance,” one comment read.

Come on give Stan a break,” another commenter wrote. “He really needs/deserves it. He’s been through so much for the past year.” You can check out fan’s reaction to the video below.

Recently, The living comic book legend also denied claims that his daughter was attempting to gain control over his assets as reported by THR. A document allegedly signed by him revealed that his daughter Joan Celia “J.C.” Lee and his friend Morgan are trying to gain control over his assets, money, and property. He filmed two videos standing alongside Joan and Morgan stating that “my relationship with my daughter has never been better and my friend, Keya Morgan and I, also have a great relationship.”

Fans’ will get to see Stan Lee’s next cameo appearance in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War, which opens in theaters on April 27th.
