Riverdale Season 2 midseason premiere is just around the corner. The CW series based on Archie characters will resume its run this week with episode 10 titled “The Blackboard Jungle.” During this episode, Jughead and his friends from South Side Hugh will be welcomed to their new school.
When the show returns, the students from the Southside will deal with a big bombshell. As reported earlier, South Side High is shutting down and the students will be transferred to Riverdale High. The transition for them will be interesting to watch out for.
The network has released a new promo video teasing how the transfer plays out. It seems some students from Riverdale High are happy to welcome Jughead back to the school and accommodate his serpent friends from the Southside.
The clip shows Veronica welcoming the students to their new school. In order to make their experience smooth and easy, she sets up a registration desk where they can get their locker assigned, class schedules, list of sports and other extracurricular they are interested in. Standing beside Lodge is Archie and Kevin and they all welcome the transfer students with a smile.
“We encourage each and every one of you to drink deeply from the cup that is fair Riverdale,” Veronica says in the clip as she addresses the incoming students. Scroll down to watch the promo.
Meanwhile, the synopsis for Riverdale Season 2 episode 10 suggests that Betty will search for her long-lost brother Chic Cooper. It won’t be too long before fans will be introduced to Hart Denton’s character on the series as the show returns from the winter hiatus.
In addition, Archie will be asked to spy on his girlfriend’s father, Hiram. He will be looking for information on Hiram’s recent business dealings.
Riverdale Season 2 episode 10 Chapter Twenty Three: The Blackboard Jungle airs Jan. 17.
