Following the eventful midseason premiere, Riverdale Season 2 is set to air episode 11 next week. The upcoming segment is titled “The Wrestler” and it sees Archie and Hiram competing against each other in a wrestling match. Meanwhile, Betty bonds with her brother, Chic Cooper.
The CW has released a promo video for Riverdale Season 2, episode 11 and it gives a glimpse of what is coming next. It shows Hiram lash out on Archie and telling him that he is not “good enough” for his daughter.
At the same time, Betty’s father is not too thrilled to see Chic. He admonishes Betty for it. However, the next shot sees the duo sitting together and getting along well. In the clip, Betty opens up about her dark side to Chic.
“There’s a darkness in me that I don’t understand,” Betty tells Chic in the clip.
Veronica and Josie are not getting along anymore. The two ladies will find themselves clashing with each other this week. The final shot gives a glimpse of Hiram and Archie’s wrestling match and it seems it’s not going too well for Archie.
According to the official synopsis for “The Wrestler,” the annual Picken’s Day is just around the corner and the whole town is preparing for it. With the help of Toni’s grandfather, Jughead learns about Riverdale’s history and learns some shocking information.
Elsewhere, Archie continues his struggle to get closer to Hiram for which he enrolls himself for the Riverdale wrestling team. There are a lot of secrets that will come out this week. Betty discovers her brother’s dark secrets. And Veronica and Josie have disagreements to deal with for their Picken’s day performance.
“Amidst preparations for the town’s annual Picken’s Day festivities, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) interviews Toni’s (guest star Vanessa Morgan) grandfather and learns some shocking details about Riverdale’s history. In an attempt to get closer to Hiram (Mark Consuelos), Archie (KJ Apa) tries out for the Riverdale wrestling team after learning of Hiram’s love of the sport. Meanwhile, Betty (Lili Reinhart) unearths some dark secrets about her brother Chic (guest star Hart Denton), and Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Josie (Ashleigh Murray) clash as they prepare for their Picken’s Day performance,” reads the official synopsis for the upcoming episode.
In addition, the next chapter is expected to see the war between Jughead and Principal Weatherbee continue. Also, as previously reported, the mystery of the Black Hood murderer is not yet over and he is expected to return at any point in the remaining season. So, watch out!!!
