While the network is yet to release the synopsis and related plot details, the network has unveiled a promo trailer teasing the events of the next chapter of the series. Fans be prepared, things are going to get quite tantalizing and romantic.
The ladies and the men are on a luxury weekend getaway where all they want to do is “relax and unplug.” The ladies look quite excited and give their men some good time. A lot is happening between the sheets. Fans will get to see Betty dressed as her Dark Betty version. However, it is all for Jughead and the romantic time they want to spend in the woods.
However, the promo shows a glimpse or two of Chic, who seem to be up to something. Another shot shows a man in the woods. The identity of the man remains uncertain, but it is sure he is up to something creepy. In a shot or two, Jughead and Veronica look astonished. The weekend is definitely not just relaxing for the gang. There is a lot more happening that shall be revealed when the show returns.
“It’s like the four of us are in a powder keg. All it would take is one match and it’d all blow up,” Archie is heard saying in the clip.
Meanwhile, the clip ends on a very strange note. The four of them are in a pool as Veronica approaches Jughead to kiss him. As for Archie and Betty, they just look at them in astonishment. Scroll down to watch the full trailer.
