With Avengers: Infinity War slowing inching closer to its April release date, Robert Downey Jr is giving two lucky Marvel Cinematic Universe fans a chance to attend the next big Marvel film’s premiere.
Downey Jr. aka. Ironman recently took to his social media page to announce a new charity initiative that will give fans the opportunity to accompany him to the world premiere of Avengers: Infinity War on April 23rd in Los Angeles. Fans can take part in the contest by donating at least $10 to Random Act Funding. Every $10 donation will be counted as one entry, so the more people donate the better are their chances to be selected.
The initiative Random Act Funding has been started by Robert and Susan Downey. It supports multiple charities. Notably, the proceeds collected by way of the contest will go to ROHHAD Association and the Brian Ortega Foundation. The ROHHAD organization helps children suffering from a rare life-threatening disease called Rapid-Onset Obesity with Hypothalamic Dysfunction, Hypoventilation and Autonomic Nervous System Dysregulation. This disease affects young children over the age of 1 year, causing organs and systems to shut down.
The ROHHAD association offers financial support to the patients and their families, funds and promotes research as well as raises awareness about the diseases.
The contest will end on April 13, 2018. So, fans have one month time to donate to a great cause and boost their chances of watching the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War movie with the fan-favorite stars. You can check out Robert talking about the contest in the video below.
Those interested in making donations as part of the contest can go ahead to CrowdRise’s page for the campaign. Remember, the more you donate, the bigger will be your chances to win.
Avengers: Infinity War will land in theatres on April 27, 2018.
