RUMOR: Aquaman, Shazam! & Wonder Woman 2 Part of SDCC 2018 Panel

A new rumor suggests Warner Bros. is planning to showcase some of the highly anticipated DC films including Aquaman, Shazam!, Wonder Woman 2,  and The Batman during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con presentation.

The information has come from Twitter user Daniel R who revealed in his post that he has heard that Warner Bros. SDCC panel will offer the first look at the Aquaman trailer, a Shazam! movie teaser, and Wonder Woman 2 villain Kristen Wiig as Cheetah.  There are also rumors of Batman actor Ben Affleck and Matt Reeves making an appearance together at the SDCC stage for DC’s standalone Batman film.

Together with the information, Daniel R has attached a message advising readers to take all the information with a big grain of salt, as it’s only a rumor for now. You can check out the post below.

Considering the fact that James Wan’s Aquaman is inching closer to its release date, it won’t come as a  surprise if the filmmakers roll out the first trailer for the film at SDCC next month. Notably, Aquaman is the only DC movie slated to release this year, so, it’s highly likely that the film will receive a bulk of attention. It’s also reasonable to assume that a new Shazam! teaser might get rolled out at the event.

Talking about Wonder Woman 2, the film is rumored to begin filming sometime this month. DC Films’ Geoff Johns and director Patty Jenkins recently teased the WW84 logo which has a 1980s vibe. Wonder Woman 2 is already confirmed to be set during the Cold War in the 1980s.

Aquaman is slated to debut in theaters on December 21, 2018, followed by Shazam! on April 5, 2019, and Wonder Woman 2 on November 1, 2019. The Batman solo movie doesn’t have a release date as yet.
