Avengers 4 is one big mystery, all thanks to the Russo Brothers who have been quite successful in keeping every little information about the film under wraps. A lot of rumors about the film’s character roster have already flooded the internet. Recent reports suggest 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford has also joined the Avengers 4 cast.

According to the report from TheWrap, citing sources with knowledge of the project, Langford has filmed scenes for the upcoming Avengers movie in an undisclosed role.

While nothing about Langford’s role in the Avengers: Infinity War sequel is known at the moment, a lot of theories place her as the daughter or young successor to an already established Marvel character. Some fans speculate the 22-year-old actress could likely be playing Scott Lang aka Ant man’s grown up daughter Cassie or Clint Barton aka Hawkeye’s daughter Lila as Avengers 4 is expected to see a big time jump.

The latest rumor coming from MCU Cosmic suggests that the character’s parents could be none other than Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. It is expected that the time jump will make Langford’s character a part of a future that a time-traveling Stark will have to sacrifice in order to undo Thanos’ snap. A Marvel fan even re-imagined Langford as the MCU’s version of Kate Bishop/Hawkeye in a new fan art.

Langford, who earned herself a Golden Globe nomination for her role as Hannah Baker on the controversial Netflix show 13 Reasons Why, will next appear in another Netflix series titled Cursed in March next year. Cursed is a new take on the King Arthur legend by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler. She will play the role of a teenage girl, Nimue, who becomes the powerful Lady of the Lake.

In related news, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has already confirmed Avengers 4’s first trailer will arrive before the end of the year.
