Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner has shared an update following his surgery from a Snowplow tragic accident and since his social media post, an outpour of love & support has come from MCU stars such as Chris Evans to director Russo Brothers and many more creatives from Hollywood. Tuesday’s statement from Washoe County Sheriff’s office confirmed that the Marvel star was run over by the Pistenbully vehicle which caused blunt force trauma to the chest and orthopedic injuries.
Tensions were high among movie stars and creatives in Hollywood, especially among the Marvel family after news emerged that Jeremy Renner was in a critical but stable condition following the surgery due to his “tragic” accident. There remains an ongoing investigation by Washoe County Sheriff, however, they have confirmed there was no foul play involved.
Jeremy Renner posted an image of himself bruised up and hospitalized with a brief message, “Thank you all for your kind words. Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.” The Instagram post has received warm messages from many fans including Avengers stars like Josh Brolin stating, “Close but no cigar. You’re blessed. Quick recovery, brother.”
Thor star Chris Hemsworth also wrote, “Speedy recovery buddy. Sending love your way!” A similar message was echoed by Avengers: Endgame directors Russo Brothers and Captain America star Chris Evans, Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Chris Pratt and even its director and DC Studios’ CEO James Gunn.

Renner was reportedly run over by a vehicle that weighed three times of a car, which puts the Pistenbully’s weight approx 6500 kg. Fortunately, the actor has managed to survive the accident with the aforementioned injuries and surgeries.
“Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him,” the actor’s publicist, Sam Mast, shared in a statement on behalf of Renner’s family Monday. “They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”
Renner would have been on a promo tour this January for Paramount+’s Mayor of Kingtown. Moreover, the star also had his own series titled Rennervation set to debut later this year on Disney Plus.
