While the casting announcements for the Captain Marvel movie (aka Warbird) is still underway, a new report by Omega Underworld has revealed that well known Costume Designer Sanja Milkovic Hays will be designing costumes for the upcoming film.
Sanja Milkovic Hays has previously designed costumes for Star Trek Beyond, Blade, and the complete Fast & Furious franchise. Hays having dressed up the Federation and the aliens in Beyond should undoubtedly be able to efficiently design the costumes for the Skrulls, SHIELD, and Kree in the Captain Marvel film apart from the other aliens that Carol Denver might have to face in the movie.
Though we do not know yet as to what we can expect from Hays, we might get to see some traditional SHIELD costumes against the 90’s background set.
Captain Marvel movie is already garnering attention as fans are excited that they will, at last, be able to see a woman at the center of a Marvel superhero franchise.
Captain Marvel’s plot is set in the 90s and will feature Nick Fury essayed by Samuel L. Jackson, and the villains Skrulls. The Kree-Skrull War will be included in the film too. Kree superhero Mar-Vell, the original Captain Marvel from the comics might also make his appearance.
The movie narrates the story of (duh) Captain Marvel/ Carol Danvers, to be essayed by Brie Larson. Her DNA gets altered by an encounter with an alien warrior. She now has loads of superpowers such as flight, super strength, and channeling energy into weaponized blasts.
Captain Marvel is expected to hit the theaters on March 8, 2019, and will be directed by Anna Boden, and Ryan Fleck. The film will star Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel and Samuel L. Jackson Nick Fury. The script is written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet based on an earlier draft by Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve.
