Sebastian Stan Confirms Winter Solider Is Not In Black Panther

In the ending of Captain America: Civil War, Steve leaves Winter Solider in cryo-sleep with Black Panther. It is revealed during the mid-credits that Bucky is held in one of the safest most guarded place in the world- the Kingdom of Wakanda.

Due to that scene from Civil War, fans began speculating that Sebastian Stan could reprise Winter Soldier in the upcoming Black Panther. Finally, the conversation has been put to an end.

Recently, Stan was interviewed by Good Morning America at the D23 Expo. During their talk, the interviewer was prepared to ask the actor if Bucky Barnes has a part to play in Black Panther.

Before the interviewer could finish his question, Stan was quick to reply the following. “I am not in Black Panther,” said the Winter Soldier actor. Fans can check it out in the video below.

It looks like Bucky would be spending his time in cryosleep throughout the events of Black Panther as well. Fortunately, we will get to see the Winter Soldier get down to action in Avengers: Infinity War.

Another interview clip also shows Stan and Anthony Mackie teasing the fight sequence in Infinity War. Stan also said that there was a rumor that the film contains over 30 minutes of battle scenes.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther is scheduled to hit theaters on February 16th, 2018. Recently, Marvel Studios also shared 20 new photos from the film, giving fans a glimpse of the Kingdom of Wakanda and more.

Chadwick Boseman has also reprised Black Panther in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. Earlier, the actor shared a photo from set confirming his start of filming for the MCU movie after wrapping up production with his standalone film.
