Shazam!, Aquaman, IT’s Pennywise, Deadpool 2 & More Take Over SDCC 2018

Shazam! and Aquaman are the two Warner Bros. films that are most likely to steal all the limelight and attention at the San Diego Comic-Con 2018 (SDCC 2018) event. There’s finally a bunch of pictures from the event that offer the best-detailed view yet of Zachary Levi’s Shazam! costume. The pictures have been shared by Collider’s Editor-in-chief, Steven Weintraub.

The publisher’s booth has two statues- one is of Shazam! donning his superhero costume, while the other is of the teenager boy Billy Batson who gets the power in the film to turn himself into an adult superhero by saying a magical word. Shazam’s red bright ensemble with a lightning bolt is probably the most vibrant and colorful of all DC superhero suits seen in movies like Justice League and Suicide Squad.

Weintraub has also shared some pictures of Aquaman movie costumes and statues installed at the DC Comic Con 2018 booth. The statues of Aquaman, Mera, and Black Manta are enough to create hype among fans for the underwater superhero film.

Moving over Aquaman and Shazam!, IT Chapter Two’s demonic clown Pennywise is also in attendance at the event in the form of real-life looking statues. The statues are scary enough to freak out SDCC  attendees.

The marketing team behind Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 2 has their own unique way of promoting the film’s digital and Blu-ray release. They have put a paper with Deadpool’s picture on top of a toilet seat claiming that this is all Fox can afford to promote the film’s digital release. Well, this is definitely one of the most bizarre yet unique ways of promoting a film that fans could ever expect.

Some new art for Young Justice: Outsiders is also on display at DC Entertainment’s SDCC booth. The poster confirms that the animated series’ season 3 will feature Vandal Savage and Darkseid as the main villains.

Though Marvel Studios won’t get the spotlight at SDCC 2018, Their greatest villain yet, Thanos has managed to grab the attention of the masses as a life-size LEGO statue.
