She-Hulk episode 4 fans react to Donny Blaze, Jen getting on Tinder-Esque app, Sopranos spoilers, Wong meeting Madisynn, possible Mephisto tease & more

She-Hulk episode 4 brings back Wong (Benedict Wong) but this time as a client seeking Jen Walters’s (Tatiana Maslany) help to stop Donny Blaze, and no that’s not the Ghost Rider as many fans had hoped for but rather a wannabe magician misusing the Sling Ring to make up for his cheap magic tricks. And while dealing with work-life, Nikki (Ginger Gonzaga) convinces Jennifer to get on the Tinder-Esque dating app, Matcher as shown in the teaser. But the best takeaway of this episode was MCU’s newcomer, Madisynn (Patty Guggenheim) – who could either become “Wonger”’ ‘s new friend or maybe his girlfriend to binge-watch The Sopranos. Here’s a recap of the few best scenes from the latest episode.

Everybody loves Wong and as She-Hulk notes, the character has become Twitter armor against harsh criticism. However, episode 3’s Megan Thee Stallion twerk scene couldn’t escape the toxic remarks even with the Sorcerer Supreme’s cameo. Nevertheless, the fourth episode finally delivers a smashing action sequence where She-Hulk donning a perfect purple dress fights a horde of demons alongside Wong while also managing to dimension hop back home and resume her date with a hunky doctor. But let’s take a step back, what’s the deal with Donny Blaze? Though many Marvel fans speculated it could be a tease for johnny blaze, that hope was shattered, still, it’s possible She-Hulk episode 4 could have teased another character connected to Ghost Rider, Mephisto.

During Donny Blaze’s Cease and desist trial for using Kamar-Taj’s Sling Ring – Madisynn is called upon to testify regarding her portal traveling experience where she reveals, “I made a pact with a demon that I cannot discuss. Otherwise he said he would “reap my soul and the souls of all I love.”

Earlier in her first encounter with Wong, Madisynn talks about escaping a lava pit thanks to a talking goat in exchange for six drops of her blood. In the comics, Mephisto required the blood of an innocent woman to create a brass suit that helped him keep his soul concealed. Perhaps this is another tease for Mephisto’s incoming debut in Marvel Cinematic Universe? It’s too seen to tell.

She-Hulk episode 4 makes quite a few Sopranos references but the writers could’ve certainly done a better job at including those easter eggs without spoiling the show for potential fans currently experiencing the New Jersey mob boss-centric series. Nonetheless, the light-hearted elements (She-Hulk’s one-nighter with a pediatric oncologist) keep it entertaining enough to leave audiences screaming over the series’ short runtime. The only drawback was Titania’s (Jameela Jamil) MIA status but the ending sets the stage for She-Hulk episode 5 where Jen faces a lawsuit for misuse of a trademark from Titania. What trademark? Well, the name “She-Hulk”.

She-Hulk episode 5 will air next week on Thursday via Disney Plus
