Captain America: Brave New World could lay the foundation for the MCU to introduce Japanese heroes or mutants capable of using Adamantium like Wolverine. A new rumor regarding Japan’s connection to the rare metal has fans speculating it could explore Yukio Yashida’s family’s involvement and debut of Silver Samurai.
Mutants, Adamantium & an ensemble of villains – if all the rumors pan out, Captain America: Brave New World would see Anthony Mackie‘s Sam Wilson dealing with threats way above his pay grade. And with most of the Legacy Avengers MIA or KIA, the new Cap will also go on a mission to form a new group of heroes as the next generation of Avengers.
The Sam Wilson-led team is expected to butt heads with the Val lead Serpent Society over Adamantium. Insider MTTSH reveals the fourth installment would also share information related to rare material that has the two sides at each other’s neck. The scooper says Japan will be the only country so far to turn liquid material into metal.
It’s possible the US could have lent the proprieties to Japan similar to the development in Marvel Comics due to the two government’s secret agreement. It’s also a Japanese scientist Lord Dark Wind credited with coming up with the first procedure to bond Adamantium to a human skeleton.
Japan have great interest in Adamantium in Captain America: Brave New World and they are the only country so far to turn it into metal

Some fans are theorizing this could lead to the introduction of Lady Deathstrike. This female version of Wolverine made her first live-action debut in 2003’s X2. But some are also hoping it opens the door for MCU to reintroduce the Yashida plot line.
Marvel fans would remember 2013’s The Wolverine introducing the antagonist, Harada a.k.a Silver Samurai though the character was killed off in the end. Even so, Harada has managed to be resurrected on several occasions in the comics so it remains to be seen how the MCU would handle his reemergence.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever clearly addresses other nations’ interest in acquiring Vibranium or finding a material with the same defining characteristic, a team of special ops from the US Navy also attempted to extract vibranium from a Talokan mining operation.
The Thunderbolts movie is expected to show Genosha Island as the source of the rare metal and countries competing to acquire it. So it will be interesting to see how Japan’s interest and role in turning Adamantium into metal plays out.
