Snyderverse & Cyborg trends as fans support Zack Snyder’s vision on Justice League’s director cut anniversary week

Snyderverse & Cyborg trends as fans support Zack Snyder’s vision on Justice League’s director cut anniversary week

One year since the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League and support to see the director’s vision fulfilled grows larger among DC Extended Universe fans. As a matter of fact, a large part of DC fandom has echoed their sentiments to see Snyderverse restored as well as Ray Fisher’s return as Cyborg.

The first year anniversary of the Snyder cut has become a moment to cherish for Snyder fans, paying tribute to the 4 hours long superhero flick released on HBO Max on 18th March 2021. Nearly 5 years after the disastrous Justice League overlooked by Joss Whedon hit theatres. Now, the campaign to restore the Snyderverse has taken social media by storm when Warner Bros. hopes to course correct the main continuity with a multiverse event in the upcoming The Flash.

Even with Batgirl set photos already offering glimpses of a post Flashpoint world in the making – fans’ plea to see the Snyderverse continuation, at least as an Elseworld saga remains strong. Readers can check out their reactions below for Zack Snyder’s Justice league anniversary week.

For the uninitiated, Snyder originally intended a 5 film arc starting with Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Justice League, Justice League 2 & 3. The ensemble featuring sequel would have seen the heroes face off against the Legion of Doom – as hinted in the theatrical cut’s post-credits hinting Lex Luthor’s plan to recruit other villains. The final Justice League part would’ve seen the Knightmare sequences of previous films come true in reality with the surviving defenders fighting Darkseid and an Anti-life equation controlled Superman (Henry Cavill).

While Warner Bros. has shown no sign of greenlighting the alternate reality universe, some insiders have indicated a glimmering sign of hope for the Snyderverse. Last Friday, Grace Randolph revealed that Ben Affleck’s Batman does not die in most recent cut of  The Flash movie. And the actor reportedly had a change of heart over exiting the role. Other insiders have also been hinting at more updates related to the Snyderverse so its future remains to be seen.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is currently streaming on HBO Max.
