Spider-Man: Homecoming is all set to make history as the first film with Marvel having a joint control over its creative actions. While the movie has received enormous support from fans all over the world- it doesn’t remove the pressure as its success is vital for both studios to green light upcoming projects.
Fortunately, it looks like Tom Holland isn’t worried about the studio facing a hurdle in green lighting a sequel. Recently, the actor revealed that he has his own ideas for a second installment- if there would be one.
In an interview, the actor revealed a list of villain he’d like to go up against in the second installment. Moreover, he’s interested in clashing with a character with similar wall crawling abilities.
During Holland’s visit to Brazil, CinePOP had the chance to interview the actor and discuss his upcoming film. Holland was asked which supervillains he would like to see if there is a sequel.
There’s so many good villains, I really like Mysterio, I like Kraven. I really like the clone saga. I think it could be really cool if Peter, or Spider-Man has to fight people with the same powers as him. Spiderwoman’s super cool… I think she’s called Spider-Girl who is his clone. They kind of like hit it off and they take their masks off and they’re like… [shocked look] What the hell! They’re like the same person, but she’s just a girl. I think that’s really cool.
Spider-Man: Homecoming releases on July 7th. Marvel’s Iron Man a.k.a Tony Stark has also made a cameo appearance in the film.
