Spider-Man: Far From Home Hyped To Be Grander & Funnier Than Homecoming Movie

Spider-Man: Far From Home will be bigger and funnier than Spider-Man: Homecoming, at least according to Dan Lebental who will reprise his role as an editor for the upcoming Spider-Man film. Lebental has worked as an editor in a lot of Marvel Cinematic Universe films including Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor: The Dark World, Ant-Man, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Ant-Man and the Wasp. He even edited the first two Guardians of the Galaxy films and is on board for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter while promoting Ant-Man and the Wasp, when Lebental was asked to give some details on Spider-Man: Far From Home, he just said that the upcoming film will be bigger and even funnier than the last one. While he did not reveal any other detail about the film, he did advise fans to wait to get more information about the film.

I can’t say much about the new Spider-Man, but I will offer up that it will be both grander in scale and even funnier than the last one,” the Ant-Man and the Wasp editor said. “The rest of the story will have to wait.”

Nothing much about Spider-Man: Far From Home is currently known except that the film will see Peter Parker traveling out of New York City. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has already revealed that the sequel is a summer vacation-style film. The shooting of the film is expected to take place in London as well as some other European countries.

Notably, the production and filming of Spider-Man: Far From Home has officially commenced. The first set photos of Tom Holland as Peter Parker filming Spider-Man: Far From Home in London appeared online recently.

You can check out the set pictures below.

Interestingly, Holland was the one who unknowingly revealed the film’s official title while sharing a video on Instagram. Actor Jake Gyllenhaal is rumored to be playing the role of the main antagonist Mysterio, a master of illusion, in the Homecoming sequel.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to open in theaters on July 5, 2019.
