‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’: Stealth Suit Looks Tactical In Detailed Closer Look

A new Spider-Man: Far From Home set picture offers a close up look at the wall-crawler’s new black stealth suit. The suit in the picture is like nothing seen before in the comics.

It has body armor and glowing goggles, possibly for night vision. Well, there’s also a faint logo on the top right chest portion which looks similar to the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo. It might be that Peter Parker will be assigned some work by the organization in next year’s release. Back in August, set pictures confirmed that Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders, who play super spy agents Nick Fury and Maria Hill respectively, will be part of the cast of Spider-Man: Far From Home. The two were clicked shooting for the film in the United Kingdom.

Thanks to fans we also got the first look at Spider-Man: Far From Home villain Jake Gyllenhaal’s Quentin Beck, also known as Mysterio. The leaked photos & clips showed Gyllenhaal wearing the classic, comic-accurate green Mysterio costume, purple cape, and the golden gloves. Mysterio’s iconic fishbowl helmet was missing from the attire, but, it is likely that the gear will be added in post-production. You can check out the new still of stealth suit below.

While the film’s plot details are currently kept under wraps, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige has already confirmed that Far From Home picks up just a few minutes after Avengers 4. The globe-trotting Spider-Man sequel will see the wall-crawler head overseas with his friends as part of a class field trip.

Directed by Jon Watts and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: Far From Home also stars Zendaya as Michelle, Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes a.k.a. the now-imprisoned Vulture, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Hemky Madera, Tony Revolori alongside fellow franchise newcomers Numan Acar as Dmitri and J.B. Smoove in an unknown role.

Spider-Man: Far From Home arrives in theatres on July 5, 2019.
