Is that Sandman? Green Goblin and Electro too! The new Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer has arrived and with it, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios unveiled several old Spidey villains such as Rhys Ifans’ The Lizard.
While fans anticipated the Spider-Men trio reveal in the new trailer. Sony went the other way to showcase its ensemble of supervillains from Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spidey universe. Furthermore, it looks like Doctor Strange also gets in on most of the multiverse-related action sequences.

The 3:04 min trailer shows Tom Holland’s Peter Parker/Spidey front and center of the multiverse arc as he teams up with Doctor Strange to reverse the incidents of Spider-Man: Far From Home. Fans would remember seeing Mysterio outing Peter’s secret identity after J. Jonah on Daily Bugle broadcasts the news worldwide.
Charlie Cox’s daredevil also wasn’t part of the trailer but fans remain convinced as many compared new scenes from the lengthy promo to the big leak from John Campea. But readers are advised to take this news with a grain of salt.
Directed by Jon Watts from a script penned by Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna, Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch and Marisa Tomei. The threequel will be Marvel’s first outing in exploring the multiverse
The Spidey/Doctor Strange crossover plot will continue on to Doctor Strange: Into the multiverse of Madness releasing on 6 May 2022. The Sorcerer supreme’s sequel is directed by Sam Raimi and will also feature Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff.
