Before the first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer gets out on Saturday, fans got a chance to have a closer look at the new Spider-Man Stealth Suit which has been displayed at the ongoing CCXP 2018, a pop culture convention taking place in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Two of the wall-crawler’s new costumes showed up at Sony’s CCXP booth. The first one is a new red and black suit, while the other one is a complete black, stealth suit. It has been rumored that Nick Fury gifted the stealth suit to Peter Parker and that the real patch in the movie will have a S.H.I.E.L.D. logo on it. Omelete shared some exclusive pictures of the suits from the floor of the con and of Sony’s booth. Set pictures have already helped get fans accustomed to these new Spider-Man looks, but the new pictures show the suits in terrific detail.
Marvel Studios also had Captain Marvel’s red and blue suit on display. Thanks to fans, several close-ups stills and clips of the suit have hit social media. You can check out the suit pictures below.
Sony is expected to release the first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer during its CCXP panel on Saturday. Notably, the first trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming was also revealed during the same event back in 2016. Just recently, Marvel Studios released the second trailer for Captain Marvel.
In related news, actor Jake Gyllenhaal finally confirmed the news of him playing the villain Mysterio in the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home. He made a debut on Instagram with a short video which shows him holding up an old copy of The Amazing Spider-Man comic, titled “The Return of the Man Called Mysterio.”
“I just realized I’m not playing Spider-Man,” Gyllenhaal captioned the short video.
Tom Holland will be seen reprising his role as Peter Parker in the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel. It currently remains unknown as to which incarnation of Mysterio Gyllenhaal will be portraying. Michael Keaton is also expected to make a return as The Vulture alongside Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to arrive in theatres on July 5, 2019.
