Sony has released a new promo for Spider-Man: Homecoming, A video targeting the audience in New York specifically. But going by the footage, it looks like the studio has managed to grab the masses attention in other regions as well.
A Starbucks in New York City got the chance to serve the one and only Spider-Man a hot coffee to go. But unlike their usual customers, the friendly neighborhood superhero decides to use his web to drop down from the ceiling and grab his order.
The camera team has planted hidden cameras all over the store to capture the customer’s priceless reaction. Fans can check it out below.
The video gives the audience another jolt of surprise by including a brief cameo of Stan Lee in the video. It looks like he finally decides to capture some footage of the web crawler in action rather than say “I think I know that guy.”
In more Spider-Man news, Recently, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige spoke to Collider about Spidey’s appearance in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. He revealed that due to the character’s significance in ‘Homecoming’, the screen time could “feel bigger”. However, He added, “but it’s about on par with [Civil War].”
Tom Holland on the other hand still hasn’t had the chance to read the script of Avengers: Infinity War. The actor revealed to Comicbook.com that his inability to “keeping secrets” was the cause. Here’s what he had to say.
“The funny thing is about that movie is I showed up and I was like, ‘Can I read the script?’ And they were like, ‘No, you’re terrible at keeping secrets.'”
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7th. Earlier this week, Sony also released a funny interview featuring Holland and Robert Downey Jr. It looks like the 52-year-old actor decided to be a mentor for Holland in real life as well.
