How about The Walking Dead and Stranger Things crossover? The Walking Dead’s popular bat Lucille is open to feature in another fan-favorite horror series, Stranger things. Recently, the AMC series has offered Netflix’s series to borrow Negan’s weapon, Lucille.
In a recent tweet posted on The Walking Dead’s official account, The Walking Dead hinted at the offer and congratulated the network for the successful Season 2.
“Hey @Stranger_Things — you guys wanna borrow Lucille for the Upside Down? Congrats on Season 2! #TWD #StrangerThings,” reads the post on Twitter. Scroll down to view the tweet.
Meanwhile, Comicbook notes that Stranger Things has a bat of its own. Actor Steve Harrington’s character Joe Keesy is the owner of the bat with nails sticking to it. In the past, Negan has used his bat to kill his enemies, fan-favorite Glenn and number of Zombies.
As for Joe’s bat, he has used it to beat humanoid creature from Upside Down, the Demogorgon (Season 1), and Dart (Season 2). Previously, Jeffrey Dean Morgan had offered Negan’s Lucille to one of the players in this year’s World Series.
TWD’s Lucille has been receiving quite the limelight since the start of season 8. The infamous bat was also featured on Robots Chicken Specials.
In other news, Netflix’s Stranger Things has been announced as U.S. TV’s most in-demand show. The Season 2 was recently released. As per Nielson, all the nine episodes drew on an average 4 million viewers.
According to Deadline, an independent data-science company Parrot Analytics measured the “total audience demand being expressed for a title within a market using more than 1 billion daily data points.” According to the numbers, there has been a tremendous surge for Season 2 and the show is leading with 69.9 million average “demand expressions” for the first week of November.
The horror series beat HBO’s Game of Thrones in popularity. The fantasy drama garnered 54 million demand expressions. Meanwhile, The Walking Dead stands in the third place with 53.5 million demand expressions.
Stranger Things Season 2 starring Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), David Harbour (Jim Hopper), Dinn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) and others is now available on Netflix.
