Supergirl Season 3 Episode 10 Trailer, Airdate: Legion Of Super-Heroes Arrives

The CW’s Supergirl just wrapped up its first wave of Season 3 with an episode titled “Reign” that featured the rise of Kryptonian World Killer and her highly anticipated confrontation with Kara. The show ended with Reign dropping Supergirl off the ledge.

Melissa Benoist (Supergirl) cast returns next year to The CW with the second wave of Season 3. The show will pick up from episode 10, titled “Legion of Super-Heroes.” The network has released a promo trailer teasing what is coming next.

The promo confirms midseason premiere date and teases the return of Reign. In the clip, Kara is still unconscious and struggling for her life. Meanwhile, Reign continues to spread chaos in the National City.

Kara is troubled with flashes of Reign dropping her off the ledge. She knows that her enemy is still out there and the war isn’t over. As reported earlier, Reign is here to fulfill an ancient prophecy and Kara must stop it.

“Reign is still out there. People are dying. I have to wake up,” Kara says in the clip. Scroll down to watch the trailer teasing the events of Supergirl Season 3 episode 10.

The network is yet to reveal plot details for the next chapter of the series. However, the title suggests that midseason premiere will see the rise of Legion of Super-Heroes. When the show returns, Kara will not be alone. She will have superhero allies to defeat Reign.

During the midseason finale, Mon-El and Imra Ardeen explained Kara her connection to the Legion of Super-Heroes, a team of superpowered beings living in 30th and 31st centuries of DC Comics Universe.

According to Bustle, Brainiac 5 and Saturn Girl will be the two other members of Legion that will be introduced when the show returns. Brianiac 5, an alien from the planet Colu, will be portrayed by actor Jesse Rath. He will be joined by Amy Jackson’s Saturn Girl.

While there is no confirmation on how many Legion members will be introduced in second half of the Season 3, it will be interesting to see how they all come together to stand against Reign. Meanwhile, the team must remember that Reign isn’t the only World Killer out there. There are five of her kind.

Supergirl Season 3 returns Jan. 15 on The CW. Keep visiting Pursue News for more information and details.
