The struggle to stop the Worldkillers from destroying the world continues in Supergirl Season 3 episode 16. The next chapter of the series is titled “Of Two Minds” and it features the arrival of the Third and the final Worldkiller called Pestilence.
The CW has released the latest promo video for Supergirl Season 3 teasing the events of episode 16. It gives a glimpse of the third Worldkiller that will leave Supergirl increasingly concerned. In the clip, a mysterious disease is infecting Alex and Winn that is revealed to be “100% fatal and extremely contagious.” Unfortunately, there is no cure for the medical condition.
Behind all the chaos, is none other than the Third Worldkiller, Pestilence, who transforms into The Blight from the future, the monster that destroys the planet Winath. Also, The Blight happens to be a race of 30th Century, who fight the Legion of Super-Heroes. The clip shows Alex in pain. There is a total chaos and Supergirl must do everything to stop Pestilence before the Blight happens. The clip ends with an explosion. Scroll down to watch the full trailer.
Meanwhile, Supergirl and Imra are determined to stop the third Worldkiller but there is a chance they might have to deal with a disagreement. The two ladies have two different ideas of stopping Pestilence. However, their best chance of tackling the situation is working together. In the previous episode’s promo, Kara was shown training with Mon-El to stop the third Worldkiller.
