Superman actor Henry Cavill will be flying to Beijing, China to join the Justice League team to kickstart their press tour.
It has been confirmed by the official DC Films Weibo account that Henry Cavill (Superman) will join the rest of the cast of Justice League in Beijing for the film’s promotion. There are also talks about a fan event being organized in China during the tour. The Beijing campaign for the film will most likely take place on October 26th.
Meanwhile, it is not known exactly who all will join Cavill in the press tour. Joss Whedon seems unlikely to be part of the press tour due to the controversy caused by his wife’s open letter. Similarly, Zack Snyder won’t be doing any press for the DCEU film as it was confirmed by his publicist.
Meanwhile, there is news that the US press will fly to London for Justice League press junket. This has been confirmed by a series of tweets by the American media.
Justice League as everybody is aware by now traces the journey of the superheroes led by Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) after the death of Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. However, fans are wondering how the team of superheroes will be complete without the Man of Steel and speculations are rife that Superman will appear in Justice League in a very significant way.
Back in June, director Zack Snyder had teased about Superman’s role in Justice League saying that the Kryptonian hero will be a very critical player. “Superman does play a big part in this movie. His presence, and lack of presence, are big story points,” stated Snyder.
It is a known fact that the Superman would return in some way, which is certainly going to make the fans happy. DC film boss Geoff Johns had hinted in June on Twitter that the best is yet to come from the Man of Steel. Johns had retweeted an article which listed the five best Superman moments of the DCEU. He tweeted along with the article that it’s time to revise the list, hinting that we can expect more from Superman in the upcoming Justice League.
Justice League will hit the theaters on November 17, 2017. The film stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
